Stuttgart, Levante and Elche weigh up loan deal for Macheda
Stuttgart, Levante and Elche are all interested in taking Federico Macheda on loan from Manchester United.
The Italian striker is a long way down the pecking order at Old Trafford and has played just three matches this season.
The 22-year-old spent part of last season on loan at QPR but played just six matches, four of those as a substitute, without scoring.
Out of favour: Macheda could be on the verge of another loan spell
Macheda also had a loan spell at Sampdoria the season before but failed to score in 14 appearances.
His last goal came in November 2011 during Manchester United’s 2-1 Carling Cup defeat to Crystal Palace.
Macheda burst onto the scene in 2009 when he scored a last-minute winner against Aston Villa but he has scored just three league goals since then.
