British boxer Anthony Ogogo has said he was racially abused by a fellow Norwich City fan while cheering his team on in Tuesday's 2-1 Carabao Cup loss at Arsenal.
Ogogo, who won a bronze medal in the middleweight division at the London Olympics in 2012, was in the stands when the incident occurred and took to Twitter to express his disgust.
'Terrific support tonight by Norwich fans, nine thousand strong,' the 28-year-old wrote. 'Although I did get racially abused for cheering. In this day and age it's disgusting.

'Worst of all it was by a Norwich fan that thought I was Arsenal. Utterly disgusted by that behaviour. It shows how backwards some people are.'
Anti-discrimination body Kick It Out have reached out to Ogogo to discuss his comments and have contacted both Arsenal and Norwich regarding the allegations.
The body released a statement on Monday evening stating: 'Kick It Out notes the comments from Anthony Ogogo in relation to racist abuse he suffered during Norwich City's Carabao Cup fixture at Arsenal.
'The organisation condemns the actions of the individual who racially abused a fellow Norwich City supporter.
'Kick It Out has been in contact with Ogogo and Norwich City to offer support in relation to this incident and welcomes the statement from the club. The organisation hopes supporters can assist the club in identifying the perpetrator, so appropriate action can be taken.'
Norwich sold almost 9,000 tickets for their Tuesday night trip to the Emirates Stadium which ended in defeat as Josh Murphy's opener was cancelled out by an Edward Nketiah double.
Ogogo, born in Great Yarmouth, is a Norwich fan and played in the club's youth ranks before opting for a career in boxing. He had previously considered getting former Canaries goalkeeper John Ruddy to lead his ringwalk for a fight.
The 28-year-old is currently trying to salvage his boxing career having undergone a second eye operation after being registered as technically blind and having his driving licence revoked.
He has been out of action for a year after his shock first defeat as a professional, a freak stoppage inflicted when a punch from Birmingham middleweight Craig Cunningham fractured his eye socket in October of last year.
Norwich fans packed out the Emirates Stadium away end with almost 9,000 in attendance. There is no indication that any of the fans pictured were involved in the alleged racial abuse
Ogogo hopes to be back inside the ropes this December or early in the New Year. He has filled in part of the lost time with television appearances on Strictly Come Dancing and the diving show Splash!
'I've tried to keep busy,' he told Sportsmail earlier this month. 'But all I really want to do is box.'
Sportsmail has contacted Norwich City for comment.
