CL giants set aside £176million to threaten transfer swoop for Manchester United, Liverpool & Chelsea target

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly setting aside £176million to spend this summer and could make a transfer raid on Real Madrid, according to sources in Spain.

Don Balon claim PSG are keen on either Marco Asensio or Isco from Real as a response to Madrid’s perceived courting of Brazilian superstar Neymar.

While Don Balon claim this is unlikely to put Florentino Perez off pursuing the signing of Neymar, it could be bad news for Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea.

All three clubs have been linked with Asensio recently, and there’s no doubt the Spain international could make a great addition to the Premier League.

The 22-year-old is one of the most exciting young talents in the game right now and Don Balon recently stated that Chelsea wanted him as part of any deal for Eden Hazard to join Real Madrid.

Manchester United, meanwhile, could also demand Asensio in an exchange deal, with another report from Don Balon suggesting Jose Mourinho was keen on him if David de Gea were to leave for the Bernabeu.

Finally, Don Balon also recently claimed Liverpool had come in with a £132million bid for Asensio, who could make an ideal replacement for Philippe Coutinho at Anfield after he left for Barcelona this January.

PSG could do with a signing like Asensio as well, with the wealthy Ligue 1 giants looking to grow into a truly competitive force in Europe.

Last summer’s signings of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe were a good start, but midfielders of the quality of Asensio or Isco could also make a real difference.
