Sean Dyche: Burnley manager has had 'no contact' with Everton

Burnley boss Sean Dyche says he has had "no contact" from Everton over their vacant managerial position.
Ronald Koeman was dismissed by the Toffees on Monday and Dyche has been linked the role.
The 46-year-old, who will celebrate five years at Turf Moor when his side welcome Newcastle on Monday, says he remains flattered by the speculation.
"The reality of the job when it's going well is you're likely to have some form of interest," Dyche told BBC Sport.
"I mentioned last week different links with different clubs have come around, but they are others people's stories, not mine.
"They are out of my hands. In the short to medium term I am going to continue working hard as I have done."
Dyche, who succeeded Eddie Howe at Burnley in October 2012, was also rumoured to be a target of Leicester following the sacking of Craig Shakespeare.
The Foxes appointed former Southampton manager Claude Puel on Wednesday.
Speaking at his media conference on Thursday, Dyche added: "The three things that can happen are still the same; either people want me out, there is club contact and you move on, or you have enough and you walk off.
"I doubt that is going to happen, but very rarely is football a forever story. Usually at some point things change."

Why move to a club in chaos; that has pond life like Rooney in the dressing room, & other past it pros like Jags, Baines & Williams in defence?
I hope he doesn't go to Everton for the money. Stay at Burnley, try to win something. Be loved in a stable job, than sacked in 6 months due to fan fickleness.
Just ask the last Everton manager.
He bounced them back at the first attempt, and consolidated since, like Stoke and WBA have done. I'm sure the Burnley supporters would wish Dyche well if he was offered the Everton job.
But stay where you are, Sean.
Don't be silly.
He's flavour of the month but Everton would present very different challenges as expectancy levels both in terms of league position and style of play will be much higher. On this basis, he's an unknown quantity, but I do think he has the man management skills to do really well.
Tough gig though.

Dyche has done a fantastic job Burnley and is punching above his weight. Time is on his side to choose where he goes. Everton would need to come up with big money to fund new players. No doubt that Dyche could do the job the question is does he want it.
IMO, without being racist or sexist or any other -ist, foreigners are generally very overrated. So good luck to Everton I think they are facing a very rocky road ahead!
