Man Utd boss Sir Alex Ferguson admits Athletic Bilbao were better

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson admits his men were beaten by the better side following a 3-2 home defeat to Athletic Bilbao.

United have only won once in five European ties at Old Trafford this season and Ferguson admits they are finding it hard to adjust to playing on Thursday nights.

But the Scot remains confident his side can still win the tie when the clubs meet in next Thursday's second leg.
