Video: Soldado scores again! Tottenham flop nets second goal in two games for Villarreal

Roberto Soldado was ditched by Tottenham this summer for a cut-price fee just two years after costing the club £26million.

The Spaniard admitted he lost all confidence at White Hart Lane, as he found the net just seven times in the Premier League in 52 appearances.

But he has quickly rediscovered his goalscoring touch in Spain after joining Villarreal, the 30-year-old following up his debut strike against Real Betis by netting against Espanyol on Friday night to top the La Liga goalscoring charts.

Soldado also claimed two assists in the 3-1 win to leave leaving watching Spurs fans bemoaning the fact he was unable to show his best form for them.
