Transfer report: Monaco BLOCKING Thomas Lemar and Benjamin Mendy exits, amid links with Arsenal and Manchester City

Monaco are blocking Benjamin Mendy's move to Manchester City and Arsenal's pursuit of Thomas Lemar.

The French club have lost some of their key players already this summer after toppling Paris Saint-Germain last season to win Ligue 1.

Midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is close to joining Chelsea for £35million, while Bernardo Silva has gone to Manchester City for £43m.

Star striker Kylian Mbappe is also a target for all of Europe's top clubs and he could leave as a part of a world record deal.

But, according to L'Equipe, Monaco are putting their foot down when it comes to Lemar and Mendy.

Winger Lemar is wanted by Arsenal, while full-back Mendy is high on Manchester City's summer shortlist.

However, Monaco are reportedly no longer willing to part with any more of their star players after losing Silva and being on the cusp of Bakayoko going too.

As a result, the French club have told Arsenal and Manchester City they should look elsewhere for reinforcements as neither Lemar or Mendy will leave this summer.
