Transfer news: Roma to make £13million move for Arsenal target Oguzhan Ozyakup

Italian giants Roma are plotting a move for Arsenal target Oguzhan Ozyakup, according to Turkish reports.

The 24-year-old is at the centre of much transfer speculation following an excellent season in which he helped Besiktas secure the Turkish Super League title.

Ozyakup, a former Arsenal trainee, has been linked with a return to the Emirates this summer but the Gunners face stiff competition for his signature.

Roma are the latest team to be linked with the midfielder, who made 38 appearances in all competitions last season.

Roma sporting director Monchi is reportedly keen on a deal for the 24-year-old and is ready to launch a £13m bid to try and lure him to the Italian capital.

Arsenal remain interested but must act quickly if they want to snap up one of Europe's most promising midfielders.
