Transfer news: Neymar refuses to guarantee he will remain at Barcelona amid links to Manchester United

Neymar has raised doubts about his Barcelona future - putting Manchester United on red alert.

The Brazilian superstar signed a new five-year contract with Barca in October, with a release clause of 200m euros (£178m).

But Neymar has continued to be linked with United, who have the money to launch a world-record move for the 25-year-old.

Earlier this year Jose Mourinho said it would be 'impossible' for his side to lure the forward away from Barca, with the United boss insisting the Spanish giants would not entertain any offers.

But recent reports in Spain have suggested Neymar could now be made available for transfer and, speaking in his homeland this week, the Nou Camp ace refused to guarantee he will still be at the club next season.

“Who knows tomorrow,” he said, when asked about his future.

“I am now very happy, very well adapted. But everything can happen - who knows?"
