Transfer news: Gael Clichy in talks with Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehir after Manchester City exit

Gael Clichy is in talks with Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehir.

The left-back was released by Manchester City earlier this summer and has been on the lookout for a new club ever since.

Now it appears that the 31-year-old, who has spent the last 14 years in England with Arsenal and then City, could be heading to Turkey to join the club who finished second in the Super Lig last term.

According to L'Equipe, the France international has been in the country this week finalising terms on a three-year deal which could be worth around £2.6m per season.
