Sampdoria want Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere and are willing to offer the Gunners £9million

Sampdoria ‘to offer Jack Wilshere route out of Arsenal’ with £9million bid for midfielder

Sampdoria want Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere and are willing to offer the Gunners £9million to take him to Serie A.

Enquiries have been made about Wilshere’s availability but Sampdoria fear their valuation may be short of what Arsenal want, according to the Daily Mail

The England international is now moving into the final 12 months of his contract with no sign of a new deal on the horizon.

The Italian outfit could capitalise on the uncertainty and offer him a regular football, if Wilshere - who has a young family - is open to the move.

The loan spell at Bournemouth was successful in spells last season, but ended early by a broken leg following a challenge from Harry Kane at White Hart Lane.

Wilshere married his long-term girlfriend Andriani Michael in Tuscany earlier this summer, but has been left out of Arsenal’s summer tour of Australia as he continues his rehabilitation.
