Man United set to miss out on Dutch World Cup star

Manchester United will have to move fast if they want to sign Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder as reports in Italy suggest that Juventus are making advanced moves to sign the Holland international.

Louis van Gaal has wasted no time strengthening his new squad during the summer with big names including Angel di Maria, Radamel Falcao and Daley Blind arriving at Old Trafford.

But the United manager does not appear to have finished in the market just yet and has been strongly linked with a move for Sneijder who appears to have fallen out with Galatasaray coach Cesare Prandelli.

The former Real Madrid and Inter Milan star reacted furiously to being substituted last week and it appears that his future lies away from the Turkish giants.

But Italian website Tuttomercatoweb is claiming that Juventus are also closely monitoring the situation and could make their move to sign Sneijder.
