On Saturday evening, Jamie Vardy set a new Premier League record.
His meteoric rise from non-League to Premier League is well known and the Leicester City striker stole the headlines by scoring in the home draw with Manchester United.
The 28-year-old scored for the 11th consecutive game to beat Ruud van Nistelrooy's previous record, to take him to 14 goals for the campaign.
His new record is just a Premier League one - not national - but the achievement is quite incredible for a player that had just scored once in the top flight before March of this year.
Dutchman Van Nistelrooy congratulated the England and Foxes forward, who was also proving to be a popular topic on social media.
