‘He is a key player for Arsenal… I would love him to stay’ – Invincible hopes Oxlade-Chamberlain snubs Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City interest

Ray Parlour hopes Arsene Wenger convinces Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to stay at Arsenal.

The midfielder has only 12 months left on his current deal and is weighing up his future having become frustrated by a lack of game-time.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City are all reportedly monitoring the 23-year-old's situation and could move for the England man this summer.

But Parlour, part of the famous Invincibles side, wants him to commit his future to the Gunners.

"The club will definitely try and keep him," he told talkSPORT.

"He is a key player and these days you need big squads so I'm sure Arsene Wenger will be sitting down with his agent and trying to sign him up, but it is up to Oxlade-Chamberlain. These guys want to play.

"For me, I'd love him to stay."
