Exclusive – talkSPORT told De Gea has Manchester United future…but will Van Gaal play him?
Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea still has a future at the club, according to Dutch football expert Marcel van der Kraan.
The 24-year-old will now remain at Old Trafford and fight for his place, and Van Der Kraan has revealed an interview with United’s goalkeeping coach, Frans Hoek, confirmed there were no hard feelings between them.
Speaking to Hawksbee and Jacobs, Van Der Kraan said: “There is no friction between the goalkeeping coach and De Gea. There is no problem; nothing has changed despite certain things coming out.
“As soon as he plays a few games in goal and if the results are good, he [Hoek] is convinced he can get the player back in goal.
“Whether Van Gaal will decide to let him back in goal, we don’t know.”
