Arsenal transfer latest – Arsene Wenger expects ‘quiet’ end to January window

Arsene Wenger expects Arsenal to be 'quiet' in the final days of the transfer window.

The Gunners have already added to their squad this month, with midfielder Mohamed Elneny arriving for £5million from Basel.

Arsenal have also been linked with several other players, including a new striker, but Wenger predicts a quiet end to the transfer window.

"You will certainly have some work to do in the next ten days, not especially with Arsenal but with other clubs," said Wenger.

"We are always open to an exceptional opportunity we can take for the long-term. But I expect our last ten days to be quiet at the moment."
