Arsenal are on the verge of agreeing a deal with wantaway Barcelona star Arda Turan, according to reports in Turkey.

The 30-year-old has been given the green light to leave the Nou Camp this summer, after a frustrating spell at the Spanish giants.

Turan has made just 36 appearances in two seasons and is expected to be part of the mass exodus departing Barcelona this summer.

The Gunners are keen on bringing the Turkey international to the Premier League and, according to Haberturk, a deal is on the verge of being completed.

The source claims that new Barcelona head coach Ernesto Valverde has given the green light for Turan's exit, as he sets about rebuilding the squad.
