Paul Pogba’s incredible streak of not being on the losing side for Manchester United has come to an end.

The Frenchman was involved as Manchester United lost 2-0 to Tottenham at Wembley.

Pogba saw his side go behind just 11 seconds into the game through a Christian Eriksen goal before Tottenham’s advantage was doubled by a Phil Jones own goal.

With the Red Devils chasing the game, Pogba was substituted off for Marouane Fellaini in the 63rd minute. It failed to make a difference and Manchester United lost the game.

It meant Pogba was on the losing side in the Premier League for the first time in 465 days.

Manchester United’s record signing had gone 36 games without losing prior to the defeat to Spurs, a run that included 23 wins and 13 draws.

The last time Pogba had lost was 23 October 2016, against Chelsea.
