Juventus star Alex Sandro was reportedly enchanted with Chelsea’s mammoth offer to sign him in the summer.

Antonio Conte was determined to bring Alex Sandro to Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window, but Juve made it clear that the 26-year-old left-back was not for sale ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.

It’s understood the Blues are ready to make another move for Alex Sandro in January and Manchester United are also preparing a bid to land the Brazil international.

Gazzetta dello Sport, though, claim that the defender was ‘bewitched’ with Chelsea’s £60million offer which could give the Premier League champions an advantage in the race to sign him.

It’s understood Juve were holding out for a bid of around £80m which meant the transfer never materialised.

Reports suggest Alex Sandro favours a move to Stamford Bridge over Old Trafford in the new year.

Alex Sandro’s relationship with Massimiliano Allegri has broken down this term and the Serie A giants are now resigned to losing the Brazilian.

United are likely to move for Tottenham’s Danny Rose or Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon if Alex Sandro completes a move to Chelsea.
