Jurgen Klopp has made a bold call in dropping Liverpool goldenboy Mohamed Salah for their clash with Stoke City on Wednesday night.

The Egyptian has been in fabulous form in recent weeks, banging in nine goals in his last eight games in all competitions, but his German boss has opted to leave him out.

In comes Dominic Solanke to make his first start in the Premier League, who joins Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino in a three-man attack.

Philippe Coutinho joins Salah on the bench, with Klopp shuffling his pack ahead of a busy winter period.

Jordan Henderson, Daniel Sturridge and James Milner are also among the substitutes in what’s a strong bench for the Reds.
