Mohamed Salah was furious as Willian found an equaliser for Chelsea (Picture: ESPN)

Mohamed Salah cut a frustrated figure as Liverpool’s defence let him down once again in the side’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea.

The 25-year-old forward, who completed a move to Anfield in the summer transfer window, has had an outstanding start to the 2017/18 campaign, scoring ten goals in his opening 13 Premier League appearances.

Salah’s 13th goal came in the 65th minute versus Chelsea and the Egyptian’s effort looked to be the winner until Willian brought the sides level at the death on Merseyside.

Jurgen Klopp’s men had already conceded 17 goals in the English top flight prior to the Anfield clash and Salah went ballistic as his team conceded their 18th on Saturday afternoon.

A victory would have seen Liverpool replace Tottenham in fourth place but Klopp had to settle for a point against Antonio Conte’s champions.

Liverpool threw away a three-goal lead at Sevilla in midweek and Salah was seen reacting angrily to the equaliser at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.

The former Chelsea man will be desperate for a win on Wednesday evening as Liverpool travel to Stoke.
