Lyon forward Nabil Fekir has admitted he would be interested in a move to the Premier League following reports linking him with Arsenal.

The 24-year-old is enjoying an incredible season in Ligue 1 and has already matched his tally from the previous campaign with 11 goals to his name so far.

Fekir has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in recent weeks and is viewed as a possible replacement for Alexis Sanchez, should he leave in the summer.

Arsenal broke their transfer record to sign Fekir’s former team-mate Alexandre Lacazette last summer and the forward’s departure has led to Fekir becoming a key figure in Lyon’s side.

The France international has also attracted interest from La Liga and Fekir’s talked up the possibility of leaving Lyon for England or Spain.

‘When you are from Lyon, the only French club that you are interested in is Lyon,’ said Fekir.

‘There is nothing that tempts you more than that… Spain and England. Those are the two most attractive leagues, where they love football.

‘From a technical point of view, it is neat. It is the best! In Spain, even the smaller teams are not scared of playing.

‘I love the game, the beautiful game. The teams that are uniquely looking to be involved in and win duels do not interest me. That is not football. Aside from that, everyone has their preferred style.’
