Went down too easily… (Picture: Sky Sports)

West Ham produced one of the performances of the Carabao Cup to come back from two goals down and beat Tottenham 3-2 at Wembley.

Moussa Sissoko and Dele Alli put Spurs 2-0 in front after 37 minutes, but the Hammers came out after the break a rejuvenated side, and Angelo Ogbonna scored a 70th minute header after Andre Ayew’s brace.

You can forgive West Ham’s away support for losing their heads after the final whistle – come on, they haven’t had much to cheer about this season, have they?

And one particular supporter certainly won’t be forgetting the match in a hurry after his Wembley antics left him battered and bruised and, in turn, made him a viral hit.

Mark Noble, who Slaven Bilic recalled to his starting XI at Wembley, walked up to the away end to lob his shirt into the crowd.

Eager to get his hands on Noble’s No.16, the supporter in question performed the most graceful swan-dive before unceremoniously crashing into the hoardings like a sack of spuds.

We’ve been reliably informed that the shirt ended up in the hands of one of the youngsters jostling for the shirt in his vicinity.

Undoubtedly one of the great Carabao moments.

Asked about whether he believed his side could come back from two goals down, Noble replied: ‘In all honesty, no. Do I believe in this team? Yes. Do I believe in these players? Yes.

‘But 2-0 down here against a fantastic Spurs side is, not just for us, for any team, a massive, massive mountain to climb.’
