Luke Shaw made his debut for Manchester United three years ago and the left-back is eager for more years at Old Trafford.

The defender has endured three injury-plagued years at the club and was criticized heavily by Jose Mourinho last season.

But, Shaw remains a United player and is eyeing a return to form this campaign as he looks to finally shake off his injury troubles.

‘Three years ago today I made my debut for Manchester United,’ he said on Twitter.

‘Time flies but there is much more to come.’

A broken leg in 2015 kept Shaw sidelined for much of the year that followed, but his stock remains high among the United coaches.

Shaw is pushing to reclaim his spot in Mourinho’s squad after making his comeback from his latest injury earlier this month in the Carabao Cup.

Mourinho has repeatedly urged Shaw to re-commit himself to getting fit and Shaw seems determined to do that.

Shaw was not included in the squad that traveled to Russia to take on CSKA Moscow in the Champions League this week.

However, the player has been assured there is a place for him at the club if he regains full fitness.

Since his £30million move from Southampton in 2015, Shaw has made just 48 appearances and 29 starts in the Premier League.
