Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is willing to put his body on the line on Sunday against Tottenham after declaring himself fit.

The Frenchman completed a £40million move to Stamford Bridge in July but is yet to make his debut for the Blues because he arrived at the club on the back of minor knee surgery.

Chelsea lost 3-2 to Burnley on the opening weekend of their Premier League title defence and face a daunting trip to Wembley to face Tottenham on Sunday.

Antonio Conte will be without Gary Cahill and Cesc Fabregas for the clash against Spurs but Bakayoko has made himself available, according to the Telegraph

The France international featured alongside Eden Hazard in a behind-closed-doors friendly with QPR on Thursday but Bakayoko is ahead of the Belgian in terms of recovery.

Suspensions mean Chelsea’s squad is down to the bare bones so Bakayoko could be handed a place on the bench.
