Monaco star Thomas Lemar has dropped a pretty big hint he’s keen on a transfer to Arsenal by ‘liking’ Alexandre Lacazette’s photo on Instagram.

The 21-year-old winger is rumoured to have agreed personal terms on a switch to the Emirates Stadium, but his club are blocking a move due to their £80million asking price for him.

Arsenal are reported to have made a second bid of around £40m for Lemar, who seems to have the Gunners on his mind if his social media activity is anything to go by.

With his fellow Frenchman Lacazette joining Arsenal earlier this week, Lemar was seen to be among the names to ‘like’ a photo of the striker posing with his new kit.

Arsenal could do with Lemar joining Lacazette in attack this summer, with Arsene Wenger facing the very real prospect of losing star player Alexis Sanchez to Manchester City.

Together, Lemar and Lacazette could go some way to replacing the Chilean, who scored 30 goals and supplied 13 assists in all competitions last season.

Arsenal have also already signed left-back Sead Kolasinac on a free transfer from Schalke, in a transfer window of major intent so far.

If Arsenal fail to land Lemar, Wenger seems to be looking into Leicester City wide-man Riyad Mahrez as another option for that part of the pitch.

Still, Monaco could find it harder to keep hold of their star player if he continues to show a desire to leave for north London.
