Arsenal have submitted an offer for Nice left-back Dalbert, according to reports in Italy.

Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Inter are exploring the possibility of a deal for the 23-year-old this summer.

But Arsenal are providing serious competition for the Brazilian and have registered their interest with a ‘big offer’.

Earlier this month, reports claimed that Nice were demanding €15 million (£13.1m) for the defender.

Arsene Wenger has already strengthened his options on the left side of his defence with the signing of Sead Kolasinac from Schalke.

Nacho Monreal is set to stay as he still has two years remaining on his current contract, with the option for a further season.

Kieran Gibbs, meanwhile, is expected to leave the club this summer with Watford, Stoke City and Brighton all linked, but Premier League clubs are reportedly put off by the 27-year-old’s £15m valuation.
