And the Daily Star says the Special One will be handed a £300m transfer war chest to overhaul the squad in the summer.
Mourinho is well known for loving to spend huge sums on new signings and it seems likely United will have an exciting off-season.
United are looking for elite level players to take the club on to the next level with big names expected to be brought in.
