Former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers and ex-Manchester United manager David Moyes are the clear favourites to become the next Newcastle United chief.

Coral is offering 4/5 that Steve McClaren will be the next manager to be sacked in the Premier League after a series of poor results.

And Paddy Power reckons that Rodgers is the favourite to replace the former England boss at St James’ Park.

The bookies have made him 3/1 to succeed McClaren with Moyes coming in at 4/1.
