As the season draws to a close, managers turn their attention to the summer transfer window.

Arsenal are likely to bring in several new faces as they look to challenge Chelsea at the top of the Premier League.

There have been several big stories involving the club to suggest that there will be a lot of movement at the Emirates.

Tomas Rosicky extends his contract – confirmed

The Czech midfielder has signed a one-year contract extension with the Gunners and won’t move this summer.

Arsene Wenger announced the news this morning that the 34-year-old will remain at the club for at least one more season.

He’s always been a dependable squad player so good news for Arsenal fans.

Double swoop for Yohan Cabaye and Ezequiel Lavezzi – report

Wenger is keen to rescue the duo from their Paris St Germain nightmare by bringing them to London, according to Le 10 Sport.

Former Newcastle star Cabaye is a pass master and his experience in the league could tempt Wenger to make his move.

Lavezzi has been heavily linked with both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur but he has the quality to play for Arsenal in the Champions League.

The Catalan giants are prepared to offer a whopping £50m to seal a deal for the Gunners star.

They have sent scouts to watch him in action and are keen to complete a deal once their transfer embargo is completed.
