Have we got a new right-back?

The upcoming summer transfer window promises to be quite a busy one for Manchester City. Reinforcements in the defense are necessary, and there's a good chance the Citizens will get the best right-back in England.

Tottenham Hotspur star Kyle Walker was not used on Sunday's North London Derby against Arsenal, and there are a few reports of an alleged row between Walker and Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino. The Englishman has decided to leave the club, and despite interest from Barcelona and Manchester United, he'll be going somewhere else.

Pep Guardiola has decided he wants to have the 26-year-old on his team for his pace and defensive ability, and the Catalan manager is increasingly confident in signing the England international. City will have to spend as much as £40 million, but the club is willing to spend big to improve the defense this summer.

Walker was named in the PFA Team of the Year this season, and is undoubtedly the best full-back in the Premier League. The deal is looking even more likely with each new reliable source reporting it, and we can be as confident as Guardiola that Kyle Walker will be wearing Sky Blue next season.
