Manchester City will go for a tenth straight victory to start the season with another visit to Liberty Stadium to face Swansea City, this time in the Premier League. The Sky Blues comfortably won Wednesday's EFL Cup match, and Pep Guardiola hopes to do the same on Saturday.

The City manager made a lot of changes to the side in midweek, giving minutes to youngsters and reserves, but the stars should all be back to play in the second game of the Swansea double-header. That includes the return of Sergio Agüero, who served a three-game domestic suspension but is now available to play in English matches again. Agüero's suspension was somewhat of a blessing in disguise, since it gave Kelechi Iheanacho the chance to prove himself to the new manager. Agüero was always going to play, but the young Nigerian needed to show his worth, and he did.

Kun comes back now, but it doesn't mean Guardiola won't have absences on Saturday. Another City attacker is serving a three-game suspension for violent conduct, and Nolito will sit out of two more domestic matches. Another suspension is to Yaya Touré, but that was a suspension from the club because of the actions and words of his agent. Touré won't be at the club for too long, and he won't be playing the final few months of his City career.

Now, we go to the injuries, and there are three players who are doubtful to face the Swans: David Silva has been dealing with a hamstring problem for the last 10 days, but the Spaniard should be fit enough to make the bench. Midfielder Fabian Delph is also doubtful with a muscle problem, and he might sit alongside Silva on the City bench this Saturday. Vincent Kompany limped off the pitch on Wednesday, and there is no official word from the club as of this writing.

Swansea manager Francesco Guidolin has only one absence: bench-warming winger Nathan Dyer has an ankle injury and won't return until November, but the rest of the squad is healthy and fully fit to play this weekend. The Italian manager could be sack if he loses to the Sky Blues, so having a full squad available might help Guidolin put his best team on the pitch and maybe keep his job.
