Ashley Cole set to sign new Chelsea deal

Ashley Cole is set to sign a new contract at Chelsea.

The England international’s current contract at the club runs out at the end of the season, which has sparked uncertainty regarding his Chelsea future, with the full-back being linked with moves to Real Madrid and Paris St Germain.

But Cole seems to have committed his future to his current club, and it is understood the defender has agreed to put pen-to-paper on a contract extension, with both parties expecting the paperwork to be signed off in the next 48 hours.

Cole has had a glittering career in west London following his cross-capital move from Arsenal, winning the Premier League and Champions League titles, four FA Cups and one League Cup.
