It’s safe to say Stan Kroenke is not the most popular man in north London.

The majority shareholder does not appear to be willing to sell his stake at Arsenal to his long-term adversary Alisher Usmanov.

A £1billion bid has been launched by the Russian businessman with the aim of taking over the reins from the almost universally hated Kroenke.

Gunners fans have pointed to the American’s involvement with the club as a major reason for the side’s struggles to win major trophies.

And it seems Kroenke is not willing to leave without a fight.
