Transfer report: Blow for Tottenham and West Ham as Barcelona join chase for prolific striker Alexandre Lacazette

Barcelona have expressed an interest in Tottenham and West Ham target Alexandre Lacazette.

The striker has found the net 20 times for Lyon this season, to add to the tally of 31 goals that he bagged during last year's campaign.

The Frenchman's form has attracted interest from several clubs, including Tottenham and West Ham.

However, according to L'Equipe, Barcelona have now joined the running to sign Lacazette.

The Spanish champions have reportedly already sounded out the 24-year-old's representatives ahead of a move.

Lyon understandably want to keep their star striker - but any offer of around £24m is likely to be accepted.
