Transfer ALERT! Inter Milan plot move for Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny

Inter Milan have joined the race for Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.

The Poland international is into the final year of his contract at the Emirates and he could be shown the exit door this summer.

The 27-year-old has spent the past two seasons on loan at Roma and a return to Italy on a permanent basis looks like the most likely outcome.

Juventus are said to be very keen on Szczesny as they look to find a long-term replacement for Gianluigi Buffon, who will be 40 in January.

However, according to Sportitalia, the Italian champions will not have it all their own way as Inter are interested in the Arsenal goalkeeper too.

The San Siro club's new manager, Luciano Spalletti, worked with Szczesny at Roma last season and he was suitably impressed that he now wants to coach him again.

As a result, Inter are expected to put together a formal offer for the Poland star in the coming days.
