‘I show emotion in my bed’ – Pochettino on Lamela’s ‘rabona’ goal

When Erik Lamela celebrated his wonder-goal against Asteras, everyone was in awe, except for manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Yes, it was a goal to saviour in a match England U21 striker Harry Kane scored a hat-trick, but the boss explained he is someone who tries to remain calm.

"I never show emotion. I show it at home and in my bed, but I am a manager that tries to be calm during the game."

He was full of praise for Lamela, though, joking that he once scored a similar goal.

"I am very happy for him and only a player with his skill can score a goal like Erik's."
