Chelsea keen on Angel Di Maria as Manchester United reject eyes shock Premier League return

Former Manchester United midfielder Angel Di Maria is looking to return to the Premier League, with Chelsea reportedly interested in landing the Argentina international.

Di Maria has endured a difficult second season in France with Paris Saint-Germain under coach Unai Emery and is searching for an alternative option.

The 28-year-old has attracted the interest of several European clubs with Antonio Conte at Chelsea very keen to bring the Argentine to Stamford Bridge.

According to Don Balon, Di Maria believes he can rekindle his form under the guidance of Conte and could be set to switch back to the Premier League as early as the January window.

Di Maria joined Manchester United ahead of the 2014/15 campaign but failed to settle and made just 27 appearances before moving on to PSG.
