Boost for Arsenal and Tottenham! No Porto bid for teen sensation claim Red Star Belgrade

Arsenal and Tottenham have been given a boost in their pursuit of teen sensation Luka Jovic after Red Star Belgrade revealed Porto have not made a bid.

The 17-year-old has been tipped as a star of the future and has scored six goals this season.

Arsenal and Tottenham have both scouted the striker, but Porto had reportedly made a £3m bid for his services.

However, Red Star's sporting director Zvezdan Terzic has now rubbished talk of a bid from the Portuguese club.

"We have not received any offer from Porto for Jovic," Terzic told Novosti.

"The Portuguese media have their own sources, but such an offer for Jovic we haven't received."
