Bayern Munich pull out of race for Man United target

Bayern Munich have pulled out of the race to sign Manchester United target Juan Cuadrado.

The Bundesliga champions had been seen as major competitors for the Fiorentina winger's signature, along with Barcelona and United.

However, Marca are now reporting that Bayern sporting director, Matthias Sammer, has pulled the plug on a deal for Cuadrado.

Fiorentina are believed to want in excess of £30million for their prized asset, an amount Bayern appear uncomfortable with.

Bayern's decision to leave the race for Cuadrado will come as a boost to Barcelona and United, who are on the hunt for new additions after trophyless seasons last year.
