Arsenal transfer report: Gunners striker Lucas Perez in talks over move to Fenerbahce

Fenerbahce will hold talks with Arsenal star Lucas Perez's agent this week, according to reports in Turkey.

The 28-year-old forward was left out of the Gunners' pre-season jaunt to Australia, throwing his future at the Emirates into further doubt.

Perez, who has been pushed further down the pecking order at Arsenal by the arrival of record-signing Alexandre Lacazette, is reportedly unhappy with his bit-part status in the squad.

And, according to Turkish news source Fanatik, Fenerbahce have ear-marked Perez as their number one transfer target.

The Turkish giants are expected to hold talks with the player's agent this week to try and discuss a loan agreement ahead of the new season.

Perez will be offered the chance to reinvigorate his career at Fenerbahce and will be guaranteed first team football, something he has struggled to achieve at Arsenal.

The former Deportivo La Coruna forward still has three years remaining on his current deal but is expected to be shipped out temporarily this summer.
