Arsenal set to relaunch bid to sign Udinese star Jakub Jankto – reports

Arsenal are set reignite their interest in Udinese star Jakub Jankto, according to reports in Italy.

The Gunners have been monitoring the progress of the 21-year-old over the past year but are yet to lodge a bid.

It was thought that they might have moved onto other targets but, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the promising Czech is still very much on their radar.

Some reports have suggested that there is a minimum fee release clause set at just £6m which would represent good value for somebody who would start as a squad player.

Arsenal have made an unusually early start to their transfer dealings this summer with both Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette already through the door.

And now Arsene Wenger could be about to make Jankto his third signing of the window.
