Arsenal FC transfer news: Lucas Perez in line for return to Deportivo La Coruna

Arsenal misfit Lucas Perez could be heading back to former club Deportivo La Coruna on loan.

Perez left the Spanish club for Arsenal last summer but he has struggled to nail down a place in Arsene Wenger's first team.

The 28-year-old was in superb form last season, scoring 19 goals and assisting 11 more for Deportivo, which secured his move to the Emirates.

However, he has been little more than a bit-part player at Arsenal, managing just two starts in the Premier League.

Now it has been suggested that a return to his old club is on the cards, with an initial loan swap mooted.
