Alexis Sanchez demands £400,000-a-week mega money deal to remain at Arsenal as contract enters final 12 months

Alexis Sanchez is demanding a whopping £400,000-a-week to sign a new deal at Arsenal.  

Negotiations have hit the buffers after Sanchez turned down the Gunners most recent offer of £275,000-a-week. 

Manchester City are keen on signing the Chilean international, who could leave next summer on a free transer if he is allowed to run his contract down. 

He hinted at possible exit during the Confederations Cup, but as yet nothing has materialised and no bid has been receieved for him. 

Sanchez said: "My future is clear in my mind.

"I know what it is — but I cannot tell you at the moment."

The Gunners are desperate to keep their prized-asset even following the arrival of record signing Alexandre Lacazette. 

Lacazette will play the central striker's role, linking up with Sanchez coming in from wide positions, if Arsenal can persude the Chilean to stay.
