Tottenham are interested in signing Atletico Madrid striker Kevin Gameiro, according to reports in Spain.

Spanish outlet Don Balon claims Everton and Newcastle are also keen on the 30-year-old, who joined Atletico from Sevilla in the summer of 2016.

The former Paris Saint-Germain striker has scored 20 goals in 56 appearances for Atletico, but there are suggestions manager Diego Simeone is still not fully convinced by the Frenchman.

Tottenham could do with another striker to provide back-up and potentially partner Harry Kane up front. Fernando Llorente arrived in August, but the Spaniard is yet to score for Spurs.

Gameiro would be more likely to play often for Everton, who failed to properly replace Romelu Lukaku over the summer, so there’s a good chance he’d pick them over Spurs.
