Tottenham youngster Marcus Edwards scored a brilliant goal as England Under-20s romped to a 5-1 victory over Italy Under-20s on Thursday.
The 18-year-old found the net for England on the same day Harry Kane scored for the winning goal for the senior team against Slovenia at Wembley.
Edwards took his goal well, latching on to a fine through ball before rounding the goalkeeper and slotting home.
There have been calls for the teenager to feature in Spurs’ first team squad in certain games this season, but Mauricio Pochettino doesn’t believe he’s ready yet.
