Paris Saint-Germain have offered Tottenham the chance to buy Lucas Moura and Angel di Maria, according to reports in France (via the Independent).

The Ligue 1 giants are apparently attempting to recoup some of the £200m they spent to bring in Neymar from Barcelona earlier in the summer.

But Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly turned down a move for Lucas Moura, believing the Brazilian isn’t good enough for the Premier League.

Pochettino would like to sign Di Maria, but the Spurs board are unwilling to sanction a move for the former Manchester United winger as they think he is too expensive.

On to the next one, I suppose.

  1. Di Maria would be an awesome signing if the price was right as PSG probably want to reduce their wage bill. Would be a bit of deadline day magic if Levy could pull this off. Our attack is very frail at the minute and if Brinksmanship were to be worth it ever, this would the time. He is 29 (30 in February) and so the price shouldn’t be massive.

  2. Di Maria would require a massive wage packet.. which we can’t afford unfortunately. He would be a good signing but out of range. Lucas is a waste of space.
