Manchester United are interested in signing Danny Rose before the summer transfer deadline, according to The Independent and The Mirror.
Rose is currently sidelined with a knee injury and isn’t expected to play until the end of the month.
But with a return to full training imminent, Manchester United are apparently keen on making a move for the left-back.
Jose Mourinho has seen his efforts to sign former Spurs attacker Gareth Bale and Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic rebuffed.
As a result, The Independent claims United are now looking more closely at the possibility of signing Rose.
The Mirror believes Inter Milan are also keen on the 27-year-old, who they first showed an interest in last summer.
In my opinion, there’s absolutely no way Tottenham will let Rose leave this summer. He is a vitally important player and the club can’t afford to let another full-back leave.
Rumours of an exit are inevitable given Rose’s quality. United’s interest is merely a sign of how much the Yorkshireman has improved under Mauricio Pochettino’s management.
