Liverpool extended their unbeaten run in the league to seven matches – five wins, two draws – following the 1-0 win at West Brom on Sunday. It is our joint second longest undefeated sequence in the Premier League under Klopp, having gone seven games unbeaten (four wins, three draws) during December and January and 11 (eight wins, three draws) between the end of August and the end of November.

The Reds know five wins from five will guarantee a top four finish and a shot at the Champions League next season.

Sam Allardyce’s Crystal Palace are up next at Anfield on Sunday – 4.30pm kick off UK time – and the Reds will need to improve upon their recent record against the Eagles at Anfield having suffered two consecutive defeats at L4 in the previous two seasons. Liverpool won the reverse fixture 4-2 at Selhurst Park back in October and have won just three of the previous eight matches home and away against Crystal Palace.
