Tottenham stars top up tans with Barcelona trip as Premier League top-four race heats up

SPURS stars including Christian Eriksen, Fernando Llorente and manager Mauricio Pochettino are grinning ear to ear on their Spanish break.

Tottenham are on an eight-day warm-weather training trip following their 4-0 win over Everton as they prepare to take on Southampton on Sunday.

Spurs sit fifth in the Premier League, opening up a five-point gap on sixth-placed rivals Arsenal.

Pochettino's men were put to work in Catalonia, as they did some work on the mats, while being put through their usual cardio drills.

The Spurs players appeared to be enjoying themselves, with great Dane Eriksen all smiles away from the harsh north London cold.

Following their victory over the Toffees, Pochettino reserved special praise for Harry Kane and the underrated Son Heung-min.
